This 1986 Honda CR 500 is One Funky Looking ATC
A couple of decades ago, you could actually buy a three-wheeler just like you can go to the power sports dealership and buy a quad today. They were basically identical to their four-wheeled counterparts, only the front end was considerably lighter and, therefore more likely to wheelie. With the same engines as quads and a lighter nose and less rolling friction, these trikes were plenty fast enough to hurt the rider, and did so fairly often, which is why you can’t buy them anymore.
Sometimes you find one for sale, on eBay for example, and have a shot to own one of these three-wheeled fun factories, but they are becoming rarer as they age. This particular trike is a Honda CR 500, one of the more powerful versions ever built. We love that district 2-stroke sound as the owner fires it up and takes it for a quick spin to show that it is in good working order to help with the sale.
