This Cammed Silverado Sounds Like a Monster at Idle!

If there’s something that you’ve got to love, it’s watching somebody take a car or truck that wasn’t intentionally made to go fast and making it into a bad to the bone street machine. That looks to very much be the case with this grumbling Chevrolet Silverado.

I bet that the guys at Chevrolet never saw these things being tweaked and tuned the way that they have been when they originally designed this truck to head out there and go to work. It really makes you want to hop in the shotgun seat and go for a ride to see what happens when the driver cracks the throttle a little bit.

Instead of the tame machine that’s good for heading to the local hardware store and picking up some lumber, this Silverado has been converted to a cammed out monster, absolutely screaming when the driver cranks it up. On top of that, I’m just sure that this monster maintains its functionality as well, not skipping a beat as a workhorse. This truck might not have started out with that ideology from the factory, but what became of it certainly was a lot more than the workers on the assembly line probably ever expected.

Check out the video below that shows off the 5.3L V8 loping away in a display where it might be sitting still, but it still makes you get that chill down your spine that makes you get the feeling that laying into the throttle of this machine would be quite the experience!
