This RC Car Engine Power Tool Invention is Genius!

We’ve said it before, and this video just proves the point even further: radio control enthusiasts are some of the most creative people on the planet.

When one RC’er decided he wanted to use a nitro-burning engine from a radio controlled car to power his rotary tool, it meant he had to build most of the project from scratch. That alone would stop most of us in our tracks, as the general public wouldn’t know what to do to turn a lathe on, much less use one to build a tool from scratch with no real info out there to use as a guide.

Instead, this guy just fired up his lathe and let his creativity flow, refining the build until he had exactly what he wanted. The end product is both cool and surprisingly elegant, and sounds totally cool too! We give this dude major props for tackling this project with such bravado and building such a cool piece!
