If you don’t maintain yours, there’s a good chance that it could start to collect moisture inside which then leads to rust and as you know, rust is never a good thing, especially when it’s eating at the material that’s supposed to be used to contain a highly pressurized gas.

This thing has been used and used again over the years, containing pressurized air and releasing it when necessary for various applications around the garage. However, as with most compressors, this one had gathered some moisture inside as well and has most definitely managed to develop some rust over the years to go right with that moisture. The debris in there might just surprise you when you get to take a look for yourself.

Using an endoscope so that he doesn’t have to slice open the tank, this man gets to work, diving inside of the air compressor to see exactly what kind of condition it’s in and if it would be safe to continue using it. The amount of rust that he’s able to gather after doing this test is pretty insane as he sticks a magnet in there and goes to town.
