World’s Fastest Bumper Car – 600cc 100bhp But how Fast is it?
If you think wild and wacky mechanical creations on the Internet, a name like “Colin Furze” might come to mind as he has created, in his own garage, some of the most insane creations that have ever come to the pages of YouTube ranging from giant swings to jet engines and everything in between.
This time, we check out what happens when he gets his hands on a bumper car and straps it up with a 600cc engine to see if you could possibly get this thing to go fast in the sketchiest way possible. There’s no way around it, this small machine is a monster of the most obscure variety.
With a little bit of help from the Stig, Furze gets into action with his souped up bumper car, attempting to set a Guinness World Record for the fastest bumper car EVER. After a couple of pulls with the wind at the car’s back and into a headwind, the average top speed comes out to just over 100 mph, therefore making this the fastest bumper car that the world has seen!
I’m not sure what kind of thought process it takes to want to take a vehicle like a this and make it fast but, I’m sure glad that Colin’s brain works in this fashion because what came out on the other end was surely a joy to watch as the car made its way down the stretch.
