2-Stroke Powered Jet Boat Tears it up in the Water
When it comes to DIY projects, some are ready to tackle the challenge while others would rather spend a little bit extra and just buy something that’s already together. There isn’t necessarily anything wrong with one method or the other, but I think you can guess what category this guy falls into! He’s created his very own death trap and we’re loving every second of it. This thing absolutely tears through the water in a way that’s going to make everyone who sees it want more!
When all is said and done, the pieces are put together in just the right way to form a personal miniature jet boat! A bit of sheet metal and some ingenuity come together in such a way to make for a great time. When all is said and done, we get the result which is what we’re seeing here. Powered by a Yamaha superjet 700cc two-stroke engine this thing absolutely gets up and goes. This is probably due to what the creator says is a rather lightweight construction. With something that small to go fast, it doesn’t take all that much power. However, it looks like the 700cc engine is laying down a little bit of juice! It’s enough to make this miniature beast skim across the top of the water like a dream! It might appear a bit sketchy but we’d say it’s probably worth the risk!
Check out the video below that shows off how exactly this boat kit came to life and really popped right off of the canvas in this creator’s mind! Sure, someone could just go out and buy something like a jet ski. This DIY jet boat looks like it has the potential to be so much fun, though! With a little bit of elbow grease, we get to see something completely unique that looks like a great time! Photo credit – Keith Bennett Photography
