Camaro Inspired Rock Bouncer is Unlike Any Off-Roader We’ve Ever Seen
Sometimes, we might be making our way along at a motorsport event and stumble across something that really grabs our attention. Certain builds just find a way to pop out from the crowd. This can happen in such a way that one can’t help but stop and stare. This particular rock bouncer from Coleworx RockRacing is certainly one of those builds. Even for people who haven’t really gotten into the whole rock bouncer scene, we think they will find this one to be incredible.
The entire theme here is based around old-school American muscle. The creators behind it had to use their ingenuity to fuse together these muscle cars and a rock bouncer. At the end of the day, the theme is based on the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. That’s certainly a heck of a place to start. The inspiration is sprinkled in with just the right amount to make it all come together perfectly.
Powering the rig, we find a 700 ci big block v8 that lays claim to some major power. When all is said and done, the buggy operates on pump gas. The power numbers amount to 975 ponies at about 8000 RPM. This thing has to absolutely scream as the driver lays into the throttle.
All of the power is transferred to the ground through a turbo 400 that makes this beast move. When we walk around and get to get up close and personal with the intricate details, we find the buggy is nothing short of a showpiece. We would probably be a bit anxious to even take this thing off-roading.
From what we understand, the person who the build was done for didn’t want a full-blown rock bouncer. Instead, they wanted an all-out trail rider. When all was said and done, there are certainly some unique features on this build that really make it eye candy with the power to back it all up. By following along with the Busted Knuckle Films footage below, we get to dive inside of what might just become your favorite rock bouncing buggy. – BustedKnuckleVideo
