Check out the Mustangs Dennis Collins is Taking to Scottsdale for Barrett-Jackson!
One word comes to mind over and over as Gas Monkey Garage’s Dennis Collins walks us through his collection of eight Ford Mustangs he’s sending to Barrett-Jackson to be sold to the highest bidder: PRISTINE.
The group of ‘Stangs consists of five Fox bodies and three SN95’s and all eight together have fewer miles than the Grand Marquis your grandma drives to church and the grocery store each week. Each of these hotrod pony cars has a story of it’s own, but there are a couple that really stand out: the 1989 LX 5.0 hatch that never went through dealer prep, and the triple-white 5.0 five speed convertible that also was never dealer prepped and has only 16 original miles. Think about that, these cars are nearing their 30th year in existence and still have the factory-installed plastic on the seats. It doesn’t get more pristine than that!
The cars will be rolling across the stage in Prescott Arizona with no reserve, meaning the highest bidder takes it home, no matter how low the winning bid is, so all eight of them will be headed to new homes regardless of the selling price.
