Drag Racing On Ice Looks Like Our Kind Of Fun

If you thought that drag racing on dry ground brought up its fair share of challenges with all of the traction issues that we’re forced to trudge our way through in order to make a clean pass down the strip, imagine taking the action to a cold and icy surface that’s covered with snow. You wouldn’t think that this would be something that would be even remotely possible when mixing the factors of ice and drag racing together but based on what we’re seeing here, if you came in thinking that, you’d be sorely mistaken.

For the “Nitemare II” Ford Mustang, that insane thought becomes a reality as this thing is hooked up and ready to tackle whatever the frozen tundra wants to throw at it. With what we’re sure is a whole collaboration of specialized parts, including tires, the old Stang actually manages to get the job done and it’s hard to not be impressed when you watch the car really rocket off of the line the way that it does.

To be honest, we thought that this form of racing would be a lot sketchier, but when watching this Mustang get down and dirty, the action goes off without a hitch. The machine manages to stay nice and straight as its seemingly fearless driver keeps in the throttle to make it all the way down the stretch of ice as quickly as possible! It kind of leads you to wonder just how much white knuckling is going on in the cockpit of this ice dominating machine.

Check out the video below that shows off this frozen rocket as it blasts through the ice like it’s nothing, laying claim to the winter wonderland. After seeing this, it opens up a whole new door to the possibilities of where you can drag race!
