Duke Engines – Increasing The Efficiency of the Internal Combustion Engine
The traditional internal combustion engine has been around seemingly forever and is the method that has proven to be the most efficient when it comes to the use of fossil fuels.
There is always somebody who is looking to improve upon the classic inline or V-shaped design to make something that could be even more efficient. Engines like the rotary have worked better in theory and while they have shown that they can make great power, they have also proven that they simply cannot stand the test of time.
This time, the creator of the Duke engine claims that will happen when the straight up and down motion of the pistons and heavy crankshaft are removed in favor of a rotational setup, still making use of pistons.
We must say that with designs like this, seeing truly is believing. Check out how it all works in the video below and tell us what you think of this design.
