Following Jeremy Clarkson’s Goodbye, We Learn of “A Massive Hunt” (Trailer Inside)
The trio of Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond have been at it for quite some time. We first saw all three together on Top Gear in 2003 and all these years later, they still are presenting new and refreshing content. In a world where things seem to blend together sometimes, their presentation finds a way to stand out. There have been a lot of changes along the road but the trio has proven that no matter how hard they may try, there isn’t anybody who can change their personalities.
One thing that has changed, though, seems to be the format in which they present their personalities. Over the years, Top Gear and eventually The Grand Tour have been shown with a large chunk shot in the studio. While segments are recorded out in the field, another part of the show takes the trio into the studio for a talk show of sorts.
However, in a recent heartfelt message to fans, they would announce that this section of their career is now over. With that, they basically told us that the studio will be cut out of the production and it will now be entirely segment-based. In other words, we are still getting a similar show but it’s going to be entirely composed of the antics that the team takes on in the field.
This time, we get a little bit more insight into exactly what that means as an official trailer has been dropped for The Grand Tour Presents: A Massive Hunt. The trailer teases a treasure hunt of sorts featuring a 4×4 Bentley and even a Ford Focus on tank-like tracks. As far as details go, we don’t have all that many. What we do know, though, is that everyone’s favorite automotive trio is going to be going on a treasure hunt in Madagascar.
