Hot Rod ’55 Chevy Found on Charles Manson’s Ranch Might Be Haunted
One of the cool things about cars is that every single one has a story.
We have to admit that sometimes, one car’s story is going to be a lot more interesting than the next. However, these stories can span far and wide. Perhaps the tale is something of sentimental value. We can’t tell you how many times somebody has placed great value on a car because of the legacy behind it. On the other hand, maybe a story adds a major cool factor to a car because it was related to a celebrity in some way.
This time, we dig into a car that does just that.
When we take a look at pop culture, people become obsessed with weird things. After all, people like an infamous cult leader, Charles Manson, have found a viral interest. When it comes to their possessions or things that might’ve been associated with these types of people, it seems like we become interested in the odd factor. A case like Manson’s is just so weird and creepy that it’s almost hard not to look.
This time, we check in with a car that is actually believed to be a little bit haunted. Maybe the haunting even has to do with Manson himself. The 55 Chevrolet was found on Charles Manson’s ranch and brought back to life. The car in and of itself has some pretty intense merit. After all, the LSA power plant under the hood gives the 55 Chevy a little bit kick. The Welderup treatment ended up delivering the full custom treatment to the old school machine. The incredible build took just 20 days!
By following along with the video below, we get the entire top to bottom of the car. From the upgrades to Charles Manson’s involvement and even the belief that the car is haunted, this one has quite the story behind it.
