Speakers Up – Ripping on the 2020 Corvette C8 Z51 (Pure Sound)
When it comes to the release of a new car, there are a lot of features to dig into. This is especially true when a new generation shows its face. After all, there’s a good chance that just about everything related to such a car is going to be completely overhauled. With this, consider us sponges ready to absorb all that the latest and greatest has to offer.
When it comes to the eighth generation of Chevrolet Corvette, new equipment is absolutely everywhere. The car has not only undergone an overhaul but has completely shifted the lineage from which it was following. As we all know, the 2020 C8 Corvette will take the engine that has been in the front for seven generations and shift it to the rear of the vehicle.
How all of this will eventually pan out, we’re going to have to wait to find out. In fact, journalists aren’t allowed to start making comments on the car until October 16. However, as Matt Farah notes, that doesn’t prevent us from hearing the car’s symphony of sound. While performance is paramount with a machine like this, obviously, we want it to sound good as well. The sound that a muscle car like this makes is one of the most important parts!
By following along with the video below, we get to tune in to just that idea. Instead of giving us a review that features his thoughts on the car, Farah decides to just rip on the machine a little bit and allows us to hear the acoustics. We’re sure that as soon as Chevrolet allows the press to start giving their opinion, Matt will have a lot to say. For now, though, we just listen in to the sweet sound of the C8! We have to admit that we’re impressed!
