Twin Turbo LS Powered “Amerighini” Steals Show at LS Fest Texas
One of the things that enthusiasts can’t help but love about LS Fest is that you never know what you’re going to see. Sure, we have our fair share of niche options that will please those interested in specific platforms that came from the factory with LS power. However, the event goes so much further than the latest in accessories for your factory GM-powered vehicles. In addition, we also get some of the wildest swaps and most viral builds from around the internet as they not only show off but also throw down in motorsports competition.
This time, we check in with the event that is still relatively new to the LS Fest repertoire as the promotion heads down to Texas to see how they do things in the Lone Star State.
This video from RPS Media gives us an opportunity to get a little bit of a taste of a variety of machines from the event. It seems as if one machine in particular, though, managed to steal the show, and for good reason.

The concept of shoving an LS engine under the hood of a Lamborghini (in the rear, of course) is something that will make people stop and stare. Not only are these cars incredibly expensive to start with – typically, but engine swaps also start with a more affordable platform. In addition, machines from Lamborghini are closely guarded by the enthusiast community over there. Certainly, a machine that has replaced the Italian power plant with an American one is going to stir the pot just a little bit, whether for better or for worse. In any case, that’s precisely what the twin-turbo monster known as “Amerighini” is here to do and it certainly has us drooling.
