Clarkson Makes Fun of the Porsche 911 For 8 Minutes Straight
Over the years, the Top Gear television program has given us all sorts of entertainment and education in the world of automobiles. I don’t think that there is very much of an argument to say that any other car show aside from maybe The Grand Tour has been as popular.
It’s kind of hard to figure out the exact formula that our hosts, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May, put together in order to be one of the most successful and respected groups of hosts in the industry ever. However, what they have has kept us tuning in over and over again along with watching reruns until we really get our fill.
While we don’t know the full formula, one part that we can definitely speak to is that of humor. It seems as if the world of automotive enthusiasts really jives well with the dry sense of humor that the hosts share with us. In fact, while we think we could say that every host had a sort of deadpan sense of humor, it also seems that each one had their very own unique style to the presentation.
This time, we get to check in with one of the things that makes Jeremy Clarkson unique. As it turns out, over the years of seeing all sorts of cars and presenting the most amazing machines that the world has to offer, you’re going to develop your favorites.
On the other hand, though, you’re likely going to have vehicles that aren’t your favorite. For Clarkson, one of those non-favorites just so happens to be the Porsche 911. Down in the video below, we get a load of Clarkson ripping the model over and over again throughout the ages. No matter which generation of 911 we’re talking about, it seems as if the fan-favorite host has about the same opinion of each.
